2017 年から 2022 年までは学研ホールディングスジャカルタ駐在員事務所長として、現地市場調査、教育事業の実証プロジェクト、政府機関・教育機関との調整などを統括。これまで、官民幅広くインドネシア関連プロジェクトに参画し、市場調査、政府機関との協議、視察・商談、セミナー、ビジネスマッチング、実証事業などを幅広く支援。また、NHK をはじめとするテレビ番組やドキュメンタリーの現地コーディネートも多数手掛け、日本とインドネシアの双方の文化、社会、ビジネス慣習への深い理解を強みとしている。
ロングセラーを誇るインドネシア語会話集『旅の指さし会話帳 インドネシア語』の著書のほか、『現代インドネシアを知るための 60 章』（明石書店）などへの寄稿実績を有する。
Yoko Takebe
Born in Tokyo, Japan. Awarded an Indonesian Government Scholarship, she studied at the Indonesian Language Program of Padjadjaran University from 1991 to 1992. After graduating from the Department of Journalism, Faculty of Humanities, Sophia University in 1994, she relocated to Indonesia and began her career as an editor and translator at PT Elex Media Komputindo, Gramedia Group.
She subsequently spent nearly two decades with Japanese advertising agencies in Indonesia, where she was engaged in business development, market research, public relations, and event management, supporting the Indonesian operations of major Japanese corporations. From 2017 to 2022, she served as Chief Representative of the Jakarta Representative Office of Gakken Holdings Co., Ltd., overseeing market research, pilot projects in early childhood education, and liaison with Indonesian government agencies and educational institutions.
Throughout her career, she has participated in a wide range of Indonesia-related public and private sector projects, providing support for market research, government liaison, business missions, seminars, business matching, and proof-of-concept projects. She has also coordinated numerous television programs and documentaries for NHK and other Japanese broadcasters. Her extensive experience has given her a deep understanding of Indonesian and Japanese cultures, societies, and business practices, enabling her to serve as an effective bridge between the two countries.
Leveraging more than 30 years of professional experience in Indonesia, she supports Japanese clients by facilitating cross-cultural communication and assisting with business development, regulatory coordination, and cross-border matters.
